Jane Berz brings over 40 years of progressive health care experience in advanced practice oncology nursing, executive oncology administration, and oncology consulting.
Her consulting focus on the patient/breast cancer experience from imaging through treatment into survivorship has defined her work in creating a pathway through all aspects of breast cancer care. She is a Fellow and former board member of the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCoBC) and has contributed to her community in Chattanooga, TN, through service on non-profit boards in the arts, culture, and health care arena. Jane has been a faculty member of two schools of nursing and continues her love for nursing and teaching through presentations at national conferences and navigating the breast cancer journey for patients.
Jane joined SOMAVAC Medical Solutions, Inc. in 2020 as a clinical advisor and currently serves as Chairperson of the Board. Her expertise and dedication to improving patient outcomes make her an invaluable leader in advancing SOMAVAC’s mission.
She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Virginia, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington.
