Jean Holloway brings over 30 years of legal and compliance leadership in the medtech and life sciences industries to her role as a board member for SOMAVAC. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Secretary at Artivion, Inc., where she leads strategic legal and regulatory initiatives.
Her extensive background includes previous roles as Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Bard; Deputy General Counsel at Medtronic, Inc.; Vice President of Litigation at Boston Scientific, Inc.; and Deputy General Counsel at Guidant Corporation. In addition to her corporate experience, Ms. Holloway practiced as a trial lawyer for nearly 15 years with Dorsey & Whitney, Faegre & Benson, and Sidley & Austin.
She began her career clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit for the Honorable Luther M. Swygert. Ms. Holloway holds a JD/MBA from the University of Chicago and undergraduate degrees in engineering and political science from Yale University.
